Alistar: The Alphabet that saved the day

Alistar: Alistar began drawing since she was a little girl and colors pleased her senses. Growing up she kept the promise qualifying as an illustrator and animator. She grew up between Milan and the calm sea and green hills along the east coast of central Italy, though over the years she moved in many places around the world always in quest of new inspirations. She studied animation, illustration and photography and has worked in Europe and U.S.A. participating in the making of a long list of feature films, TV series, video clips, advertisements. Over the time her work has developed into her original colourful and whimsical style, starting publishing books and working as an illustrator full time. Alistar has been illustrating children’s books for over 10 years, working with different styles and media, both as illustrator and author. Her illustrations feature in books, magazines and advertisements. She’s a tiredless seeker of precious and sophisticated images, often inspired by old style children’s books found for a chance on a forgotten dusty shelf, preferibly owned by a rare creature. She currently lives and works in Italy and Tbilisi, Georgia
